Palazzo Daniele

“Palazzo Daniele was such a dream. We spent four days there and they were all so relaxing and wonderful. I felt like I was home at my family’s house for Christmas. I know that’s weird to say, but my second day there, I was working in one of the common areas on my laptop. The common area is like a big living room where all the guests eat their meals. It’s next door to the open kitchen where Paola and team are cooking delicious food all day. So I’m working, and all of the sudden someone brings me a bowl of fruit and some carrot cake. I really felt at home everyone is so extremely nice. As I said, the kitchen is open to grab a piece of fruit or have someone make you a quick espresso. The relaxed vibe is incredible. I loved having dinner in the common room at the elegant table settings near the fireplace. The food is home cooked Puglian and should not be missed. I’ll attach some photos, but the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had. While I was there I also booked a massage with the wonderful Emanuela. The massage was perfect on my sore traveling muscles and back. They even pressed my husband’s shirt last minute before we had to leave. Seriously, I felt like I was at my family home! (If my family home was a palazzo) Thank you so much to Fabio and Paola and everyone else’s name who I can’t remember. You guys have built something really special! Edited to mention how comfortable the bed was. I slept for like 9 hours straight one night.”

“Palazzo Daniel is a generational family home converted into “hotel”. It has large rooms with minimal air conditioning and a widow for a tv. The canvas sheets and towels seem to be the same as the grandparents used to use 20 year’s ago. They are rough and tough. The kitchen is open with a friendly staff. When dinning be sure to leave extra time and enjoy the 15-20 minute waits to get a menu, order, and a bill. The food is good but watch out for the burnt cappacinos milk.”
